Gabriella Butler is an Associate Program Officer for the Middle East and North Africa team at CIPE. She works on implementing CIPE programming in the Levant, including Jordan, Lebanon, and the Palestinian Territories, addressing issues of business advocacy and policy reform, anti-corruption, business association development, and women’s economic empowerment. Gabriella received her Bachelor’s in Global Liberal Studies, with a focus on identities and Middle Eastern Studies, from New York University, and her Master’s in International Relations with a concentration on Levantine Studies also from New York University. Prior to CIPE, she interned at Human Rights Watch and Gisha: Center for Freedom of Movement, working on development and advocacy. She speaks conversational Arabic, Spanish, and Italian.
