The Europe and Eurasia Department at CIPE assists, enables, and supports partners to engage in public-private dialogue and cooperation among the private sector, government, and civil society. CIPE works with its partners to tackle the most relevant issues facing the business community by addressing the social and governance impacts of corrosive capital, developing critical regional resources, and enabling women’s economic empowerment. In June 2025, Armenia took a major step toward strengthening financial integrity and reducing the risks of illicit and corrosive financial flows across its private sector. Through sector-specific training and tailored mentorship, five key industry associations delivered intensive programs to improve Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) compliance.
