Russians and Americans Agree on Economy

On one thing Russians and Americans agree – that economic situation in the United States is positive and it is not so good in Russia.  Reports Interfax:

Seventy-three percent of Russian interviewed as part of a poll conducted by the Yuri Lavada Analytic Center and the World Public Opinion.org (jointly with the Knowledge Network Poll) in late April assessed the current economic situation in the United States as positive.

According to the poll, 75% of Americans agree.  In comparison:

However,  60% of Russians and 72% of Americans polled gave viewed economic development in Russia negatively.

The lack of law and order in Moscow, combined with a corrupt legal system, however, contribute to an atmosphere in which rival businesspeople, politicians and ethnic groups feel fairly free to settle their disputes and grievances on their own — violently.
