Shanice Gitau is a Program Associate on the Latin America and Caribbean team at CIPE. She works on the Andean region portfolio coordinating projects in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. In the past, Shanice implemented the International Visitor Leadership Program on behalf of the U.S. Department of State and interned at the U.S. Embassy in Quito, Ecuador. In 2018-2019, she lived in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as a National Security Language Initiative for Youth Scholar. Shanice holds a BA in International Studies with minors in Spanish and Chinese from Case Western Reserve University.
