Nora Wheelehan is an Associate Program Officer for Asia and the Pacific at CIPE, where she coordinates and develops programming in Southeast Asia to strengthen democratic governance and democratize opportunities in challenging country contexts. Nora holds an M.A. in International Affairs and International Economic Development from George Washington University and a B.A. magna cum laude from Fordham University. Prior to this role, Nora was the CIPE Asia Program Coordinator, a CIPE South Asia Program Associate, an intern on CIPE’s South Caucasus portfolio, focusing on women’s economic empowerment, an NGO Youth Delegate at the UN Department of Global Communications, and worked at the U.S. Embassy Nairobi, Kenya.
