Mariam Kuchuloria

Mariam is based in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she works as a Private Sector Engagement Advisor under the project the DOL-funded project, “Georgia: Engaging Workers and Civil Society to Strengthen Labor Law Enforcement.” Previously, Mariam was a Country Facilitator for Public-Private Dialogue under the “East Invest 2” project within the EU4Business framework. Mariam is a co-founder of the European Business Association in Georgia, which represents European businesses and facilitates trade and investment between Georgia and Europe. Mariam’s professional experience includes working as in-house legal counsel in the banking, insurance, construction, transportation, and energy sectors for over 15 years.

Mariam received a master’s degree in Jurisprudence from Tbilisi State University and a master’s degree in International Law from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). She also studied International and Transnational Law at the School of American Law at the Chicago-Kent College of Law. In 2017, Mariam received the Women Leader Award for outstanding leadership in civil society under the “Women’s Role in Economic Growth and Policy Development” initiative, organized by the USAID Governing for Growth program, Women Business Council, and Economic Policy Advocacy Coalition.
