Lobna Afify is a Program Officer at CIPE Egypt. Lobna has more than ten years of program management experience that supports grassroots business associations engaging in policy reform in Egypt through institutional capacity building and civic education programs, empowering and engaging women and young entrepreneurs. Currently, Lobna provides programmatic support to the CIPE Center for Economic Empowerment and the Maghreb Team, focusing on the socio-cultural barriers to women in business, inclusion and engagement, and leadership. She has developed and managed youth entrepreneurship programs with the core objective of guiding young entrepreneurs and engaging them in a constructive dialogue with policymakers by bringing together primary and secondary stakeholders to agree on policy priorities. Lobna has authored over forty online-published economic, social, and socio-economic articles as well as writing blogs. Lobna holds an executive M.B.A. from Georgia State University and Alexandria University jointly.
