Kamal Akaya is the CIPE Morocco Country Director. A native of Rabat, Kamal’s roots trace further south in the country. He has dedicated his career to a wide array of projects focusing on community development and training. Kamal has spearheaded initiatives funded by USAID and other foreign donors and remains an active leader in an association he founded several years ago in Marrakesh. He not only understands the challenges of association management but has first-hand experience in advocacy strategies and tactics, especially at local levels.
Kamal holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies.
