Ezra Mannix leads communications for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) team. He has more than seven years of communications experience and works to leverage this experience to expand the breadth and depth of communications about the MENA team’s impactful and wide-ranging work. In addition to working across the portfolio of MENA projects to support and communicate their activities outcomes, Mannix works with the core communications team to facilitate knowledge sharing on products and manage digital communications – serving as a liaison between the Communications and MENA departments. Prior to his current role, he worked as a communications consultant for a D.C. youth services non-profit and was a communications specialist for a think tank working to advance financial inclusion.
Mannix lived in Turkey for more than seven years and is fluent in Turkish. He holds a Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, and a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon, the state he is from.
