Ana María Castro Castro

Ana María Castro Castro is the Communications Officer for Latin America & the Caribbean at CIPE. Ana holds a degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in international humanitarian law and human rights. She has over 12 years of experience in digital communication, external communications, and journalism. In the past, Ana has worked with mass media organizations (including Colombia’s leading newspaper El Tiempo), non-profit organizations (Connect Bogota Region), and international cooperation organizations (UNICEF Ecuador). She mainly worked on subjects related to human rights, the global context, entrepreneurship, and innovation, with extensive experience working in rural territories, and interacting with vulnerable groups.
