The Women’s Business Agenda (WBA) enables businesswomen to participate in the advocacy process through a collective voice that engages policymakers on issues impacting women’s economic empowerment and economic growth.
The WBA is a data- and research-backed advocacy tool designed to help women entrepreneurs identify barriers to the growth of women-owned businesses, provide policy recommendations on how to mitigate barriers, and improve the business climate for women.
The WBA is an actionable tool supporting women’s economic empowerment through a more inclusive economy. The Association of Nigerian Women Business Network (ANWBN) completed its first Nigeria Women’s National Business Agenda in 2016 and updated it in 2020. CIPE has supported ANWBN during both WBA and advocacy processes. Click the attached case study to learn more.
