In 2022, the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) partnered with the Center for Economic and Social Reality (CERES) to conduct a study that explored how corrosive and constructive capital impacts Bolivian women’s access to financial services. This study sought to determine if an influx of foreign direct investment (FDI) positively or negatively affects this group’s economic empowerment opportunities. To increase public awareness of financial transparency and influence policy-level changes, CERES and CIPE have jointly published the report Gender and Corrosive Capital.
