Fundamentals of Occupational Safety and Health – Introduction and Implementation of Management System

The “Fundamentals of Occupational Safety and Health for Georgian Employers” guidebook outlines and explains five steps that employers should take in order to establish and implement an efficient labor safety management system. The guide is based on International Standardization Organization, International Labour Organization, and Health & Safety Guidance (UK) standards, as well as on the labor safety legislation of Georgia.

The guide was developed by the Center for International Private Enterprise and the Solidarity Center under their joint “Engaging Workers and Civil Society to Strengthen Labor Law Enforcement” project as a part of the “Safe Business Is Your Choice” awareness raising campaign. The content of the brochure was prepared in cooperation with the Confederation of Safety and Health Organizations (CoSHO).
