Arise News and other media in Africa are reporting on the American Business Council Nigeria’s announcement that it will create a Private Sector Development for Democracy Forum (PSDdF) in partnership with CIPE. It is a coalition of business organizations, think tanks, and media partners committed to strengthening democratic systems, institutions, and rule of law as a means to improve economic conditions. Among those interviewed: CIPE Nigeria Programs Director Lola Adekanye and longtime partner Margaret Olele, CEO of ABC Nigeria, which also issued a press release ahead of the launch.
