CIPE is expanding its long history of work in Central Asia to support inclusive market reforms through the private sector, global trade, and new opportunities. As noted in a joint statement by C5+1 countries, CIPE is coordinating with the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to establish a regional business dialogue platform called B5+1. It will complement the C5+1 diplomatic platform, with the aim of strengthening economic ties and attracting more international investments in the region. The Central Asia countries are Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
