Do countries need freedom to achieve prosperity? Do democracies or autocracies have the better answers to the aspirations of people around the world? Attend our joint event to hear perspectives from organizations with country indexes that measure key aspects of a nation’s well-being.

Speakers will share how China and Taiwan fare in the indexes and what that tells us about the contrasting development models the two represent. In-person attendees will have the opportunity to engage with speakers and ask questions. Livestream viewers may submit questions via email. Members of the media are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
