This meeting brings together the MIRA community to examine these evolving risks and operating dynamics, share perspectives on their implications for investment and supply chains, and begin identifying practical priorities to strengthen integrity across the critical minerals value chain.

Over the past several months, CIPE, in collaboration with MIRA members, has been systematically gathering insights to inform the Promoting Responsible Ownership and Transparency in Critical Minerals (PROTECT) initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State. This meeting provides an opportunity to build on that foundation—helping to shape priority areas and translate emerging insights into practical, collaborative approaches that enhance transparency, trust, and resilience across the sector.
