Tabitha Wilson Forde

Tabitha is the Managing Director of Operations. In this role, she is responsible for financial administration and overall operations.  This includes oversight of accounting and financial management to ensure effective resource management and proper internal controls; the development and management of systems and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and donor requirements; technology initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational objectives; office and facilities management to foster a positive and productive work environment; and the development and maintenance of safety protocols for staff and facilities.

Tabitha is a strategic and process minded leader.  During her time at CIPE she has led several process improvement efforts resulting in greater operating efficiencies.  Prior to her current role, she was the Senior Grants and Contracts Manager. In that capacity, she negotiated and managed multi-million dollar international development grants and contracts.

In addition to her functions as Managing Director of Operations, she also serves as the organization’s Ethics Officer.  She has an undergraduate degree from Spelman College and earned a Master’s degree from the University of Georgia.  She is also a Certified Grants Management Specialist.
