Sarah Rupert

Program Officer, Maghreb Region

Sarah Rupert is a Program Officer for the Middle East and North Africa team at CIPE. She primarily works on programming in the Maghreb focused on anti-corruption and economic reform. Prior to joining CIPE, Sarah served as a Peace Corps youth development specialist in Morocco and worked for Sister Cities International.

Sarah grew up in Ukraine, Cote d’Ivoire, Pakistan, and India before attending the University of Virginia, where she earned a degree in International Affairs. Sarah has also studied at the Université Internationale de Rabat and the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod, and has earned certificates in Designing Community Based Dialogue, Good Governance After Conflict, and M&E in Fragile Environments from USIP. Sarah speaks several languages, including French, Arabic, and Tashlheet.
