Martin Antonio Friedl is the Deputy Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in Washington, DC. Friedl is in charge of managing programs for CIPE in Mexico, Central America, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Key program focuses include entrepreneurship ecosystems, democratic governance, business advocacy, and anti-corruption and ethics. He has over 13 years of experience managing democracy, rule of law, and economic reform programs in Latin America and the Caribbean for multiple donors including USAID and the US Department of State.
Friedl earned a BA in Political Science and an MA in Comparative Politics/Political Science from American University in Washington DC.
