Claire Garney

Program Assistant, Asia & the Pacific

Claire Garney is a Program Assistant for Asia & the Pacific at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in Washington, D.C., where she focuses on projects in Cambodia and Vietnam involving issues which include women’s economic empowerment, strengthening the role of the private sector and SMEs through business associations, anti-corruption, and access to information. Prior to joining CIPE, she held an Atlantic Media Fellowship and worked as a Data and Visualization Fellow at National Journal, where she researched energy and environmental policy and trends. She holds a Master’s degree from The Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s from Rice University.
