Catherine Gibson is a Senior Program Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at CIPE. Gibson manages programs in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, and Mexico and leads the Corrosive Capital projects in LAC. She is focusing on how to combat the corrosive effects of large influxes of authoritarian capital in emerging democracies. Prior to CIPE, Gibson worked at the Organization of American States as a Project Officer in the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism where she assisted states and the private sector to secure supply chains from international and domestic threats. She holds an MA in Latin American Studies and Political Economy from Georgetown University and a BA from Latin American Studies from Baylor University.
