Weekly Update: South Asia

Afghanistan – On August 15, 2012, CIPE Afghanistan staff met with Director of the National Center for Policy Research (NCPR) Professor Noor Ebad and discussed with him and members of his team the arrangements and preparations to be made for the upcoming roundtables and parliament members’ training program. Mr. Noor Ebad assigned Assistant Professor Fayaz Ahmad Sayar to prepare a policy paper on “Improving Access to Credit and other Banking Reforms in the light of the National Business Agenda Recommendations.” NCPR will submit the English version of the policy paper on September 4, 2012, to CIPE Afghanistan office.
