Mexico – The Center of Research for Development (CIDAC) held an online debate this week, centering the discussion on public policy incentives designed to increase crop production in Mexico. Each debate featured two experts on these subject matters. Another online debate took place this week as well, focusing on another topic that is important for judicial reform: community service as an option for punishment of misdemeanors, rather than imprisonment. The debates form part of a series of online discussions that are promoting dialogue about important economic and political issues in the run-up to the 2012 presidential elections. The debates and conclusions can be found on the Electoral Debate page, or on CIDAC’s Facebook page.
