Sandra E. Taylor
joined Eastman Kodak Company in 1996 as Director of Public Affairs
and Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs.
Ms. Taylor has worked as an attorney in Colorado and was
in the US Foreign Service. She served as an international
economist overseas and in the State Department. She joined
the staff of Senator John H. Chafee of Rhode Island in 1994
as his Legislative Assistant for International Trade and Finance.
While there, she drafted foreign trade and securities legislation
and advised on international economic policy and multilateral
negotiations.
In 1988 she joined ICI Americas, the US subsidiary of the
chemicals manufacturer, Imperial Chemical Industries PLC of
Britain. Her last position there, prior to joining Kodak,
was Vice President of Public Affairs, where she had overall
responsibility for governmental relations, media relations,
crisis communications, and community relations for ICI in
North America.
In her current position as Director of Public Affairs and
Vice President, Communications and Public Affairs, she has
overall responsibility for federal, state, local and international
government relations. In addition, she oversees the operation
of the companys Washington, DC government affairs offices
as well as the establishment of government relations outside
the US for Kodak. Ms. Taylor assists Kodaks CEO in public
policy initiatives and trade association leadership, manages
corporate sponsorships in Washington, and has undertaken business
development for Kodak in Africa.
She is a member of the US Department of Commerce Advisory
Committee on Africa; Executive Committee of the Federal City
Council in Washington; International Womens Forum and
its affiliate, the Womens Forum of Washington,
DC; US-South Africa Business Development Committee (BDC);
and Counselor of Meridian International Center. She is a member
of the following boards: Keystone Center, the Atlantic Council,
US-South Africa Business Council; and The Choral Arts Society
of Washington.
A graduate of Colorado Womens College, Ms. Taylor holds
a BA in French and a JD from Boston University.
