The Program included the following recommendations developed at UAIB roundtables:

  • Transparency of decision-making processes of the central and local administrations and public discussions of draft normative and legal acts regulating investment activities;

  • Improvement of mechanisms for governance of corporate rights, including those of the state; Provision of growth of dividends (income) accrued on shares (units, stakes) and on the property of business associations owned by the state;

UAIB plans to publish special issues of the Ukrainian Investment Paper (that was founded by UAIB) on corporate governance and investment business development. According to UIAB, this newspaper (with circulation of 15,000 copies and dissemination in all regions of Ukraine) serves as excellent public educational tool.
