| CLDS seeks to establish
a more coherent view of corporate governance in Serbia, and
enable businesses and other stakeholders to address the current
situation and future trends, particularly in regard to privatization.
The project will include the following core activities.
- assessment of the corporate governance system in Serbia
and its effects on corporate performance;
- defining the sources of poor corporate governance in Serbia
(including reviews of the legal framework, privatization
model and trends),
- formulation of a strategy for corporate governance improvement;
and
- public advocacy of the need for improved corporate governance
through an active media and public outreach campaign.
