Each participant received a package containing the following Russian-language materials:

• Abstracts of speeches by Ms. Morozova, Mr. Konigsburg, Mr. Goldin, and Mr. Kudyukin

• A Report on the CIPE-organized roundtable on Russia's business climate. The event, held in September in Moscow, featured presentations by Thomas Donohue, President of CIPE and the US Chamber of Commerce, as well as leading Russian economists.

• In Search of Good Directors (Russian translation), a book that CIPE produced in cooperation with the Central European University, on corporate governance.

• The OECD principles of corporate governance.

• Seven Years after the Breakup, a Russian-language book based on the NIS conference held outside of Moscow in September 1998.

• A booklet on formation of joint-stock property in privatized companies. Mr. Basargin, the head of the Oblast' Property Fund, is one of the two co-authors of the booklet.

• Materials on Internet-based securities information disclosure system of NAUFOR, one of Russia's leading associations of stock market brokers and other professional participants.

• Disclosure requirements for joint stock companies in Russia.

• Background information on the Ekaterinburg Center for Collective Investment.
