Show us your best story-telling photo

Do you like to tell stories through photography? Then show us your best work! The first annual Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) Photo Competition is now open for submissions.

Open to participants of all ages, including student, amateur, and professional photographers, the inaugural photo competition will focus on the theme of Entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship is the act of transforming an idea, invention, or passion into a business. The power of entrepreneurship can transform lives – often expanding opportunities and building the capacity for individuals to contribute to civic and economic development in their communities.

Contestants should aim to answer this crucial question with their original photographic submissions:

How can individuals be empowered to improve their lives and contribute to the democratic development of their communities and countries through entrepreneurship?

Head over to our official competition website before July 31, 2015 to submit an original photograph following the competition guidelines*, with a caption explaining the role entrepreneurship has played in expanding personal opportunities and/or building capacity to contribute to the civic and economic development in your community.

  • Three competition winners will be determined by public online voting beginning on International Youth Day, August 12, 2015.
  • Winners will receive an honorarium of USD 250 each.
  • Only one submission per contestant.

Entries must be the original work of the contestant, must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

*PLEASE NOTE: Failure to follow entry directions as listed may result in disqualification.
